Global Whetstone Combi+Holder Global Knives water whetstone. An alternative or preferably a supplement to using a sharpening steel is to make use of a whetstone which provides a superbly sharp edge and Global have a choice of various types and sizes which are suitable.
The water whetstone is the most popular amongst Global Knives users. It is a combination whetstone with two different sides for different sharpening purposes. One side has a 240 grit stone for rough sharpening; when turned over the 1000 grit stone polishes the blade to perfection.
It comes complete with a rubber holding base.
